It all started many years ago with an urge to help the less-privileged in our society unconditionally. Over the years, the urge developed into an idea and then into Child’s Dream. Our organization has been brought to life by a circle of friends with one common goal; helping underprivileged children in the 'Mekong Sub-Region', which includes Burma, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. This region is at the core of many humanitarian crises such as human trafficking, drug smuggling, child prostitution and the spread of HIV / AIDS.

Wherever a humanitarian crisis strikes, children are the worst affected. These children have no voice in our society and we all tend to close our eyes and to try to forget. Child’s Dream is working together with selected charity projects in the region to give these children a brighter future and a life worth living.

The Organization
Child’s Dream Association is a charity organization dedicated to unconditional help for underprivileged children in the 'Mekong Sub-Region'. Our office in Chiang Mai / Thailand serves as a base to select local humanitarian projects providing relief to street children, AIDS orphans and, in general, to children exposed to extreme poverty. In order to reach out across borders, the following entities were or are about to be set up (all entities follow the same objective and only differ in the legal way they have been set up to cater to the respective tax and charity law).

Child's Dream's Objectives and Hierarchy of Help

We are determined to allocate our charitable funds where aid and relief seem most appropriate. By providing infrastructural support to 'grass roots' projects to meet the basic human needs, Child's Dream aims to achieve its objectives as illustrated above.

Before an investment is done, we assess the project’s management team, priorities, transparency, integration into the local community and financial stability. The allocation of charitable funds will be made through direct investments according to the needs of the selected project.
